In April this year we moved into our new premises at Level 2, 22 Punch Lane Melbourne, still right in the heart of the city but closer to the action in Spring Street.

We are excited to invite members and supporters to our office warming:
Fri May 31st, 630 pm onwards
2/22 Punch Lane, Melbourne

Firstly, come to survey our new space and soak up the conversation that goes with it. We thank the Henry George Club for the fit out and for ensuring that we continue to an attractive office. We have made use of every possible nook to store our valuable archives and treasures of the last 120 years. We hope members will continue to make this their drop in centre when visiting the city.

We are looking forward to unfurling our new look everything. From website, to logo, to office, database, a new edition of Progress and our top secret historical announcement – it’s all on show.

Progress Magazine has just turned 109 years old, with an extra special edition quantifying the Total Resource Rents of Australia. What percentage of GDP does economic rent consume? Is it 1% as Paul Krugman professes or is there a more substantial number?

We invite you to this very important event in the life of Prosper Australia – so come along and give support to our wonderful team as we push forward with the reform of all reforms – to ensure we all have a place on this earth to call home; a home that offers equality of opportunity to all. We look forward to opening a few wines and renewing friendships – storytellers of all kinds are encouraged.

Congratulations on the opening of your office. Would love to come and chat but I live in QLD. May ‘Prosper Australia’ continue for many more years to be a source of inspiration and reminder for institutional government, whatever their political affiliations, to encompass common sense when it comes to the economic welfare of all Australians. I for one have learned a lot from you. Thanks.
